Create to Illuminate

The Create to Illuminate program and classes are designed to to allow the person or group participating to get beyond their critical mind, fears and doubts to that centered, wise place where they see themselves and their lives clearly. Once they feel safe to express themselves, their creativity and attention to detail alleviate stress and allow them to change their perspective. It's this mental, emotional and spiritual shift through the creative process that is so invaluable.  A shift to:

"I am more creative than I think."

The five principles of Create to Illuminate are:

1. Meditation/Guided Imagery

3. Music

4. Art

5. Inspirational Messaging

Create to Illuminate is a program based on many years of research and personal experience with people going through serious illness and disease, chronic pain, fear and anxiety. It is also based on working with oncology nurses, doctors, chaplains and spiritual care providers, social workers, psychologists, art therapists, hospital administrators, and hospice and palliative care specialists, domestic violence shelter leaders and women in crisis.

I tune people into their feelings and emotions and help them to communicate in meaningful, positive ways. The techniques and exercises allow participants to experience their emotions, not in an over-indulgent way but in a way that restores balance or "homeostasis." They learn to move through their feelings of self-doubt to a higher ground, turning fear and confusion into more joy and peace, a positive place where they can "create, illuminate and change.”
